Mr. Harold Gans is a graduate of Yeshiva Gur Aryeh and received a Bachelor of Science degree Cum Laude with honors in mathematics from Brooklyn College. He received a Master of Arts degree in mathematics from the Belfer Graduate School of Science, Yeshiva University, where he was a National Science Foundation Fellow. Mr. Gans was a Senior Cryptologic Mathematician with the National Security Agency, United States Department of Defense until his retirement in 1996 after 28 years of service. While there, he received the prestigious Meritorious Civilian Service Award for research, and was certified as a professional cryptanalyst. Mr. Gans was elected a distinguished life member of the Crypto-Mathematics Institute for his many contributions and publications in that field, and has taught mathematics, crypto-mathematics and computer science at the college level. Mr. Gans is currently involved in research concerning the interface between Torah and science, and is an international lecturer. He has lectured for Aish HaTorah, Gateways, Project Inspire, Arachim, Meor, Encounter (UK), Jewish Learning Exchange (Ohr Samayach UK), Etz Chaim, and other organizations. He has been interviewed live by CNN, CNN International, and CBS Cable News, and has been written about in several newspapers and news magazines including TIME, NEWSWEEK, USA TODAY, and THE LOS ANGELES TIMES. Mr. Gans has been a featured presenter in two television documentaries, and has lectured extensively for the public and university students throughout North, Central, & South America, Israel, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, and Hong Kong. Mr. Gans resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, where he is currently studying the mathematical implications of biological structures, the structure of the universe and of selected historical events. He is the author or co-author of three technical papers on Torah codes, presented at international scientific conferences and published in two peer reviewed professional scientific journals. Mr. Gans is also the author of The Cosmic Puzzle, A scientific inquiry into the existence of G-d which details his analysis and conclusions. Dr. Andrew Goldfinger has a Ph.D. in theoretical physics, and a Masters Degree in counseling. He retired after working for 40 years at the Applied Physics Laboratory of the Johns Hopkins University. He is past chairman of the Space Radar Working Group of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and past Director of Space Technology Training for the Republic of China. Dr. Goldfinger has lectured internationally for the Aish HaTorah Rabinnical College and for Gateway Seminars. He is also the author of the book “Thinking About Creation: Eternal Torah and Modern Physics,” published by Jason Aronson.
