Please join us for a special evening to hear Deborah Ben-Aderet’s first-hand account of life in a kibbutz on the Gaza border. Learn about her family’s harrowing survival story of 10/7, what it is it like raising a family under terror attack, and how the children of the community were affected, including her own.
Arielle Turover Cohen will then present The I Am Brave and Unafraid Book Project: Israel, which seeks to deliver the Hebrew edition of her children’s picture book, I Am Brave and Unafraid, about facing fears and boosting one’s emotional intelligence, to the affectted children of Kibbutz Zikim. Together with all of our local supporters of this project, we will be Team St. Louis! Together we can help affected children in the region be BRAVE and UNAFRAID! **Due to the nature of this presentation, it it NOT appropriate for ages under 15.**
